About Us
We have been together for over twelve years and we truly are each others best friend. We have a strong relationship built on a lot of love, trust, and respect. We met through mutual friends about fourteen years ago and remained good friends for about two years prior to us becoming a couple. We both had always dreamed of a family of our own and in March of 2002 we welcomed our first child, Lauren, into our lives. Barbara is a police officer with over sixteen years experience. Monica is a nurse and works part-time for a medically supervised weight management company. Both of our chosen professions afford us the flexibility to provide a stable structure and routine in our home, complete with lots of family play time.

 
 

About Barbara (by Monica)

Barbara is the love of my life! She is my best friend and my soul-mate. She is the kindest, most devoted and loving person I know. Her family is her greatest joy and highest priority. Barbara is also an amazing mom. She enjoys taking the time to nurture and guide guide Lauren and looks forward to doing the same with our next child. She is loving, patient, open and compassionate. For the past 10 years, Barbara's sense of adventure has flourished. She has grown to love snow-skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, rollerblading, as well as reading and movies. She is always eager to expose our daughter to new experiences and activities, and can't wait to include another baby in the mix. We truly are a perfect match and I cannot imagine my life without her.

 

About Monica (by Barbara)

Monica is one of the most beautiful people I have ever known. She is truly my best friend and the kind of person and love I only thought I could dream of. Her outlook on life is extraordinary. Monica is very outgoing, which is contagious to everyone she is around. Monica has always loved outdoor activities and she is the one person I learned my favorite hobbies from. Monica loves to teach and her patience and kindness is what makes her shine the most. With our daughter, godsons, niece, and nephew, she is the favorite grown-up to tackle or wrestle. Monica is an excellent mom and could not be more excited about bringing another child into our home.

 
 

About Lauren

Our five-year-old daughter Lauren is an amazingly happy, warm, loving and adventurous child. She enjoys outdoor activities as well as being a "big helper" with household chores. Her favorite is folding towels. Lauren also loves her swimming lessons and karate. She is very passionate about all that is feminine and adores anything that is pink! Lauren is very excited to be the "big sister" to her new brother or sister.
